I had a few things in mind when I was planning the display work for this semester. This was before news of a pandemic or a national lock-down. I have been collecting objects for a while now; mostly toys. I wanted to make something with them. Breathe in new life. I wanted to experiment with stop-motion animation through my art. I wanted to explore personal-public politics and experiment with ideas of spaces and inner lives of individuals. Urban decay has been a keen focus. I don't wish to complain but attempt to make peace with the current environment and move forward. The political voice is crisp when it is subtle, for me.
Some of the work was done previously. Others are more recent experiments. We are currently going through an important historical moment. Anxiety about the near and distant future is also inevitable. I have tried to highlight factors that I thought were relevant in the given time. What I intend to present is purely perspective, curated in the web space. In this context, the act of journaling seemed like the ideal choice of form.

Food is helping so much these days. Food can be bought with money. How grateful do you feel for food?
