Senbazuru- one thousand origami cranes.

According to the japanese folklore, the crane is considered to be an auspicious creature, which represents good fortune and health.  The legend says if you are able to fold up to a thousand paper cranes within a year, you would be granted a wish.

one fold, two fold, three fold, four fold,five fold, six fold, seven fold ….

The slow folds and the straight lines, the clean creases, the delighted wait till the nine hundred ninety nine. 

but right now, I have no paper left, not enough for even ten. But I will wait, wait till I reach thousand. Till then I will wonder for will I wish for.
